FREDD HAAS: I'm Fredd Haas. I'm a practicing attorney in Des Moines, Iowa. I didn't start out in Des Moines. I started out on a farm in western Kansas. So, really, I’m a farm boy who decided to go to law school.

And, when I went to law school, I thought I had an idea of what I was going to do with my life. In law school, I decided that I was going to represent people who got injured, either in an accident, at work or some other place. So, I spent the last 28 years of my life devoted towards helping individuals and families who have either suffered serious injury or a death.

I like doing what I do. I like getting to know the families or the clients. At the end of the case, I hope that not only have I done a good job legally, but that I'm considered a friend and someone that they can always call and ask for counsel or advice, even if it has nothing to do with the kind of case that I handled for them.

I take great pride in what I do. There's nothing else I'd rather do. And, I plan on doing it for a long time.
