BRYANT: June of 2001, I was involved in an explosion. It took away this--

MALE VOICE: Back in Iowa now, an Ogden man is recovering this afternoon after he was hurt in a co-op explosion. The explosion happened Tuesday afternoon at the West Central Cooperative in Ralston. The blast injured 32-year-old Bryant Curtin. Curtin is at Methodist Medical Center in critical condition this afternoon. Investigators say they still don't know what sparked the explosion.

BRYANT: I was married with three children at the time. I wasn't able to do anything. My wife, at the time, opened the phone book to Fredd's law firm first and made that call. And, after that, Fredd, he showed a true personalized connection.

It took over two years for my case. And, it did not go to trial; went through a mediation. He was very connected to what we wanted and made sure that any decisions in the case were ours.
